Ravi River
रावी नदीThe Ravi is one of the five major river systems of Himachal Pradesh and is closely associated with Chamba district. Official environmental material records the river’s origin in the Bara Bangal area and describes its course through Chamba before it leaves Himachal Pradesh.
Chenab River
चंद्रभागा / चेनाब नदीThe Chenab, also known as Chandrabhaga in its upper course, is formed when the Chandra and Bhaga rivers meet at Tandi in Lahaul. It then flows through the Lahaul and Pangi areas before leaving Himachal Pradesh.
Yamuna River
यमुना नदीThe Yamuna forms the south-eastern drainage system of Himachal Pradesh. It enters the state in Sirmaur, while its wider catchment includes important tributaries such as Tons, Pabbar and Giri. The Yamuna system belongs to the Ganga basin.
