- All positions are on probation as per institute norms. The appointment will be regularized on sucessful completion of probation period.

- Age limit is 50 years for those who have rendered a minimum of 3 years of service at IIT Mandi on contract/outsourced/adhoc/temporary/projects and are educationally qualified.
- Age limit relaxation for SC/ST is 05 years, OBC (NCL) is 03 years, and for PwD & Ex-Serviceman is as per rules.
