HPTET 2025: Notification Out,Apply Now

The HP Board of School Education released the HPTET 2025 Notification for November. The last date of application is 30 September 2025.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE), Dharamshala, released a notification for HPTET 2025. The HPBoSE will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for 10 subjects in the month of November 2025.

The Online Application started from 10th September 2025 till 30th September 2025 (11:59 PM). HPBoSE will accept Online applications from 01st October 2025 to 3rd October 2025 with a late fee.

SUBJECTS

HPBoSE Dharamshala is going to conduct HPTET 2025 in the month of November. The exam will be held from 02 November to 16 November 2025. The HP Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) will be conducted for 10 subjects. The subjects are:

  • Punjabi
  • Urdu
  • TGT (Arts)
  • TGT (Medical)
  • JBT
  • TGT (Sanskrit)
  • TGT (Non-Medical)
  • TGT (Hindi)
  • Special Educator (From Pre-Primary to Class-V)
  • Special Educator (From Class VI to Class-XII)

    • 10th & 10+2 from school situated within HP

Special Educator (Class VI to Class XII)

  • Qualification
    • Graduation (Any Stream) with at least 50% + B.Ed (Special Education) from an RCI-approved institution + 6 month training
    • 10th/10+2 from a school situated in HP

Relaxation

  • For SC/ST/OBC/PHH – A 5% relaxation in the minimum qualification and minimum qualifying marks.
  • Candidates in the final year of their Teacher Education Programme specified in the Gazette of India (23rd August 2010) are eligible to appear in the TET Examination

Age Limit

  • There is no upper age limit to apply for the HPTET 2025 (November) exam.

HPTET will be valid for a lifetime for all categories.
